A beautiful and spacious 200 year old stone-built cottage with character, ideally situated next to the riverbank in the lovely village of Warkworth. The cottage has been finished to a high standard with attention given to the furnishings and fittings, and is double glazed throughout. The cottage provides excellent accommodation for a couple or familes in a central location and contains everything needed to make your stay enjoyable and cosy whatever time of year. Warkworth has its own historic Castle, Church and 14th century Hermitage. The village enjoys an envious amount of public houses, restaurants, gift shops and galleries. The picturesque sandy beach and Golf Club are only 1 mile away, with the famous Alnwick Gardens and Castle 8 miles. Other attractions to the area include Holy Island and Hadrian"s Wall, which makes this an ideal base for touring this scenic county. The property has double glazing throughout and gas central heating.
