Tower Cottage is a delightful one bedroom stone cottage situated in the grounds of a large country house. Spacious accommodation is provided over two floors kept warm and cosy by a combination of night storage heaters and a welcoming open fire. Guests have access to the owners estate where the historic Preston Tower stands (a pele tower dating from 1392). The tower was built by Sir Robert de Harbottle a contemporary of Harry Hotspur, and has spectacular views overlooking the coast. There are outstanding woodland walks to be enjoyed within the grounds and guests also have use, by arrangement, of the estate tennis court. Ground Floor: Kitchen with electric cooker, microwave & refrigerator. Bathroom with bath, electric shower over. WC & whb. Spacious sitting/dining room with open fire, TV/ DVD, Sofa, table & chairs. First Floor: Large light bedroom with 2 single beds, wardrobe & chest of drawers. Parking available at cottage.Use of extensive gardens & woodland walks.
