This beautiful and superior detached stone built cottage has been finished to a very high standard and stands in its own private garden. The owner has equipped the cottage with lovely elegant soft furnishings in a traditional yet contemporary style. Located a few miles from the coast at Low Newton and the beautiful Heritage Coastline, guests have access to the owners estate through a gate in the garden, where the historic Preston Tower stands (a Pele Tower dating from 1392). The Tower was built by Sir Robert de Harbottle a contemporary of Harry Hotspur, and has spectacular views from the top of the Tower overlooking the coast. There are outstanding woodland walks to be enjoyed within the Tower"s grounds. Guests will also have use, by arrangement, of the estate tennis court. Accommodation all on one level comprises:Entrance hall with storage for boots and coats. Sitting room with open fire. TV. Wooden floor. Kitchen / Dining room - Range cooker with gas hob and double electric oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and radio. Bathroom with roll top bath. WC & whb. Bedroom 1 - 1 Double bed, en-suite shower room, WC & whb. Bedroom 2 - 2 single beds (can be zip linked together to make super king size bed on request). Private parking for 2 cars.
