I have stayed in the Cottage several times, which is testament itself. It's location is breathtaking and the cottage provides good quality accommodation.
The cottage is situated in a perfect location with views of the estuary of the Aln and the sea. It is very private and peaceful, being at the end of a private lane to Waterside Farm. The only pasing traffic was a tractor and the farmer's car going to get a morning paper in Alnmouth. There were fresh milk in the fridge, fresh flowers in a vase, tea and coffee and homemade cakes. This was a lovely welcome
This is a lovely cottage in an excellent situation with a great view. It is cosy, clean and well equipped, and being down a private road, the only traffic is that of the farmer who owns it! We had a fantastic two weeks and didn't want to leave! Will definitely return in a couple of years.
The location is stunning. Cottage was very clean and warm, peaceful and quiet with a well equipped kitchen.
This cottage is very well maintained, providing everything that made our holiday a relaxing one, with a well equipped kitchen. The cottage is lovely and warm, with a welcoming coal fire and the owner was so helpful and friendly. We have been to this cottage a few times now and will continue to come back. Thank you so much.
Return visit to Waterside Cottage, we knew location which is quiet yet close to village. Great views and good garden space. Open fire welcome, especially in the terrible weather we had. Dog friendly and lots of walks. Comfy seats and bed and well equipped kitchen.
Property in lovely spot. Very clean. Cakes and flowers were a nice touch on arrival.
Extremely comfortable, warm on arrival and every evening, with absolutely everything we needed. Nice fresh milk and homemade cake on arrival. Stunning views and lovely walk from the cottage door to the beach. Beds all nicely made up and endless hot water. Large, pretty garden.
This is the second visit to Meadow Cottage and I love it! A great base for exploring and close to Beadnell Beach to walk to the dunes.
Fully equipped with everything required for a great stay. Plenty of hot water, clean throughout, comfy beds. View from cottage over to Alnmouth was a treat and ever changing with the tides. The garden is lovely to relax in and suited our Labrador very well.
This property was really comfortable and well-equipped in the most superb location imaginable. The enhancements of local photographs and artwork were lovely.
