We are all responsible for making sure that tourism does not impact on the natural beauty so we have a few points on how you can help us tokeep the area just as beautiful for future generations.<\/h3>\n<h3>Go Car Free<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With great access links between villages, either by foot, bus, bike or train there really is no reason to need the car for days out. Besides Northumberland is great for exploring, and you never know what you might come across whilst out walking!<\/p>\n<h3>Stay Local, Buy Local<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Northumberland has a huge range of tasty food and drink on your doorstep available from local independent suppliers reducing the distance your food travels.\u00a0From oysters to cheese, pies to ice cream &#8211; take it from us,your taste buds won&#8217;t be disappointe Time to grab a picnic a\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the beach<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Be Bird Aware<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Look out for nesting, feeding and resting birds along on the coast, and take care not to disturb them. Many birds can only feed during low tide so feeding time is limited. Once born, pups come ashore to rest and warm up from the cold North Sea on quiet, sheltered beaches.
