We were very lucky with the weather for the time of year, and when we weren't out walking and sightseeing, we spent many hours sat in the garden admiring the fabulous views. On a couple of our walks at the river we watched salmon and trout jumping - great to watch.
Also, the horse was lovely and friendly - he would come for walks with us around the paddock with the dogs, who were a bit scared the first time he did it, but after that they just ignored him
I would say the only downside was the lack of a lock on the upstairs bathroom door, but apart from that it was perfect

I will remedy the lock on the bathroom door, can't think why I didn't think to put one on!
