The plumbing let down what is a great let The sinks do my drain well and leave an stale smell The top bathroom sink plug is broken and although I reported it nothing was done The bathroom in the master bedroom on the first floor bath when emptying leaks into the hall soaking bags and shoes The strange step between the kitchen and the scullery caused a couple of trips and it’s warning tape has worn off

“Impeccable decoration, remarkably well equipped property.”

Superb location, right by the beach. Only disappointment was there was only one up to date car parking pass, whilst 3 cars were involved. We coped however. Beautiful property.

Lindores is a fabulous 3 storey stone built Victorian house located on Argyle Street in Alnmouth, just minutes from the sandy beach, Aln estuary and village amenities. The property has been beautifully finished to a high standard with top of the range contemporary fixtures and fittings, and provides the perfect base for those requiring luxurious accommodation with lots of space in a much sought after coastal location. The heating system has been designed to cater for numerous hot baths and showers so no queuing up for hot water after long walks on the beach. Awarded a Four Star Award rating. GROUND FLOOR Entrance hall. Living room large with log burning stove and flat screen TV/DVD. Dining room with table and chairs and feature fireplace. Kitchen with 5 burner gas hob, 2 electric ovens, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility room with sink unit, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dryer. Separate WC and basin. Bathroom with bath, over shower, plus drench shower, WC and basin. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom 1 with double bed (off first landing). Bedroom 2 with king size bed, wash hand basin. Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants.
