The house had a permanence of damp smell throughout. We were notified that there was an issue with one radiator in the hall. The front door really needs fixing, as does the lock. To open the door required a hefty push, and the lock is clearly in need of replacing.
We left a day early because the dampness and dust affected my wife's asthma. The main bed mattress is well past its best, and needs replacing. On the plus side, an extremely well sited property for town access, complete with car parking. The provision of utensils, towels etc was also first class.All in all, a deep clean is really recommended.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you felt that house was damp and dusty. We had actually stayed there until the day before you arrived and the heating was working well. The issue with the radiator should not have affected this. I had alerted you to the door being slightly warped - a consequence of the winter season I am afraid. The lock and door handle are very secure, having been replaced last year. I am sorry that you didn’t feel able to contact us about these issues whilst you were at the house as we could have resolved them for you. Property Owner
