Presented to a lovely standard with off-road parking, an enclosed garden and surrounding rural vistas, The Hollow invites families, couples and two dogs for a special break to Northumberland. After parking up in the off-road area, step through the front door into the lounge, featuring a sofa and an armchair placed in front of the Smart TV and woodburning stove, creating a homely ambiance for unwinding. Delight in home-cooking in the kitchen, making use of the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and there’s even a washing machine so you can easily freshen up your wardrobe! Enjoy sunny days within the enclosed garden, relaxing at the patio furniture and entertaining into the night, before huddling by the firepit and roasting marshmallows. The lovely village of West Woodburn lies amidst the deep Rede Valley and was once an important resting point in Roman times for travellers on route to Scotland from York. The village hosts a welcoming pub and a Post Office selling basic supplies, whilst visitors can also explore the remains of one of the outpost forts of Hadrian's Wall that passes nearby. The historic village Otterburn, with its world-famous Woollen Mill and Shop is just a short drive away and is popular with walkers and cyclists alike, whilst the nearby, beautiful Kielder Forest affords fantastic fishing, boating, horse riding and nature watching opportunities.
