The house is roomy and the gardens are perfect for our dogs. The garden was secure, and it was nice to sit out there in the evenings.
The kitchen was well stocked, from a air fryer to coffee machine, the only thing is we found the oven slow to cook. Other than that the kitchen was great. Really helpful to have a freezer.
On arrival we had some essentials left for us, which was very helpful and a nice touch.
Lots of bits for is to use in the cupboard, like extra dog bowls, outdoor games. Very well-stocked and useful items.
The bathroom is downstairs, it's a good size but a little awkward trying to stand up and Shower in the bath, as the ceiling is sloped. Also it could do with an extractor fan. Again it was well stocked, with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Lovely touch.
The rooms were comfortable and a good size. Beds were comfortable.
There is only room for parking one car, and no bigger than a medium car. A couple of times we got blocked in, it can be tricky getting out of the drive onto the main road. It's easier not to reverse out.
Overall we had a lovely stay here, we would recommend it, especially if you have dogs and children.
Lovely five minute walk to the river, where there's a cafe and park for children.
Not far from the shops, short drive.
Considering there was a main road just outside, it's very quiet and peaceful.
