    “We have stayed at many many places in Northumberland over the years, but this was easily the best.”

    The location is great as you can walk directly to the beach and also easily nip into Seahouses for supplies, but also the house was brilliant! It had everything you could need. It was great to have a garage for storing beach stuff and rucksacks, the shower was powerful, the beds were very comfy, and the kitchen was incredibly well equipped. We particularly appreciate the amount of crockery and glasses. Also having decent sized mugs has been one of our family jokes over the years as we love a ...

Once I finish writing this, I will be back online to rebook for next year (and we never stay in the same place twice!!!) Can’t recommend Seascape highly enough

This property is ideal for exploring the Northumberland Coast and its magnificent castles and beaches, while Alnwick Castle and Gardens, and Holy Island are less than 25 minutes’ drive away. The property is perfect for keen golfers with a number of spectacular courses close by including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Goswick, and Seahouses golf course is just a few hundred yards nearby. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
