Kirknowe is a detached stone built 18th Century house, previously a Monks retreat, set in its own substantial grounds. It has been restored to make a unique property retaining many original features, including a galleried living area, and has all the mod cons including under floor heating. It is located on the side of a hill overlooking trees, fields, stream and the small community of Hobkirk. Bonchester Bridge is a short drive away, and Hawick and Jedburgh are within 20 minutes.
