Wooler, known as the gateway to Glendale, the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland National Park is the perfect base for visitors wanting to make the most of our beautiful Northumberland countryside. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Entrance hall with shoe/coat stand, mirror and console table. Step down to kitchen with drinks fridge, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, full size dishwasher, door to rear courtyard. Dining room with table, chairs, dresser, Lounge with electric fire, comfy sofas x 2, armchair, coffee table, Smart TV. Snug area with sofa and childrens games. Cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin. Storage/drying room with access to garage and rear garden. FIRST FLOOR Stairs with stairgate to top and bottom. Bedroom 1 with king-size bed and wardrobe. Bedroom 2 with double bed and wardrobe. Wooler is a delightful, historic market town on the banks of the River Till, one of the tributaries of the Tweed, nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots which form part of the Pennine Way. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens, and the well preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Chillingham Castle with its ancient herd of wild white cattle and Coldstream, just over the Scottish border, are also a short drive away.
