“It was a pleasure to return to The BoltHole and Seahouses again.”

We’ve stayed here a few times and the owners make sure the property is very clean, well kept , equipped comfortable and welcoming. The welcome pack this time was very appropriate for St Patrick’s Day thank you. Ideal position for the beaches in the area and the eateries and quirky shops of Seahouses. We hope to visit again sometime

“The Bothole was extremely well presented, furnished and equipped.”

It was very comfortable, and ideal for our party of six from five to seventy five. The "welcome" pack was generous and the owner immensely helpful when we were in touch with her. Parking was easy too. Of the six or so holiday lets we have had in Seahouses, this was rivalled by one other only whose sole advantage was its being closer to the sea! We would happily return.

A lovely welcome pack was left for us including wine and a fantastic home baked cake. The owner texted us to make sure all was okay and responded quickly to any questions. We will look forward to stay here again if in the area. Highly recommended

“What an absolute gem with a little sun trap of a garden.”

Impressive is an understatement as this cottage is of an exceptional high standard, well decorated, maintained and clean. It was indeed a home from home and we were made to feel valued guests immediately on arrival. A nice friendly note from the owners welcoming us and an outstanding welcome pack accompanied by a bottle of wine. Perfect and we definitely plan to return in the future. Excellent

The welcome pack is a lovely thought and much appreciated. We have stayed in many cottages in Seahouses over the years but this one is far the best that's why we keep returning its our "home from home" also the owners are a fabulous couple that we were lucky to meet in person

Its location is in a lovely quiet place but still within walking distance into Seahouses. The owners are very helpful if you need to get in touch they also left a lovely welcome pack which was a very nice touch that you don't always get. We have been going to Northumberland for many years and stayed in lots of different types of accommodation and this one is definitely in my top three !

Very clean and comfortable, owner has thought of everything in the kitchen and the welcome pack was lovely. The street is very quiet, the garden is a lovely suntrap and the overall area is lovely. We will be back.

It was comfortable, very clean, beautifully thought out with the best use of space and the bed and sofas were as good as home. Welcome packs are not always given now so the very generous one at the Bolthole was an especially nice surprise - many thanks to the owners!

The Bolthole (Seahouses) is an attractive, refurbished semi-detached property on a quiet little cul-de-sac just outside the village centre. The owners have finished the property to a high standard and given each room and every detail a lot of thought. The Bolthole will be an ideal base for those wishing to stay in Seahouses, close enough for all the amenities with the advantage of being in a quiet location or for touring this beautiful stretch of the Northumberland Heritage Coast. ACCOMMODATION (OVER ONE LEVEL) GROUND FLOOR Open plan living/kitchen/dining room. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. Living/dining area with comfortable seating and wall mounted TV. Dining table and chairs. Conservatory (off bedroom 1) with comfy seating and access to the rear garden. Bedroom 1 with double bed, wall mounted TV, wardrobes and access to the conservatory. Bedroom 2 with double bed and wall mounted TV. Bedroom 3 with bunk beds (suitable for child use only). Family bathroom with shower over bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail. OTHER FACILITIES Private parking for 2 cars to the front of the property and an enclosed garden to the rear with seating. Beadnell 1.8 miles; Bamburgh 3.5 miles; Alnwick 14.8 miles.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
