    “The cottage is listed as "pet free but past pets may have been had".”

    We found dog hairs on the carpet and a dog bowl under the sink. Also the join between the seats on the sofa was full of old crumbs etc and could do with a good clean. The bed is extremely large and creaks when you turn over. Maybe a smaller bed frame would be more beneficial in that room. The parking could do with sorting out as lots of cars go up and down that little roadway for parking further down, or even a pre-paid spot at one of the pubs so that you can get a parking spot without having to ...

Other than that the cottage was excellent for a stay. Alnmouth is beautiful and we've loved it for years. Unfortunately due to the above it's doubtful we will return to this lovely cottage which is a shame as the location and facilities etc is perfect

This property has undergone a complete refurbishment throughout and offers guests excellent accommodation with stylish and characterful fixtures and furnishings. The estuary and sandy beach are a short walk away and the property makes a wonderful and comfortable base from which to explore the beautiful Heritage Coastline and beautiful National Park and Cheviot Hills inland. GROUND FLOOR Living room with comfy seating, electric fire, Smart TV with access to Netflix/iPlayer/Chromecast, DVD player and a large coffee table which extends to a dining table. Steps up to: Kitchen with double electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, washing machine and dishwasher. FIRST FLOOR Bedroom with King size bed, wardrobe with hanging space, dressing table. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants.
