    “Super stay , great location close to Northumbria Coast and so easy to get to.”

    Weather was very wet when we visited so spent plenty of time inside, clean and warm with lots to do - we watched the Deer, Pheasants, Heron etc.We had our dog with us and there are walks literally on the doorstep. Good local facilities and tried local pubs and the visiting chip van too ! The cottage is frequently booked out , so felt lucky to get a few days here , will try and visit again :)

The small attractive village of Lowick is ideally placed for a holiday in Northumberland and is host to two vibrant pubs, The Black Bull Inn and The White Swan Inn where you can sample some hearty fare before continuing with your adventures. It also has a fantastic village shop where you can stock up on the essentials or treat your loved ones to a selection of home baked goods. Kimmerston Riding Centre is just a few miles to the west of the village . The pretty village of Ford with its castle and craft shops is 2 miles away, part of the Ford and Etal Estate which has facilities for cycling and fishing, as well as a mini railway – ideal for all the family. There are also excellent golfing opportunities, with 8 golf courses within 20 miles of Lowick.
