The property

Beadnell 5.6 miles away. In the rural Northumberland village of Ellingham, a car journey away from the amenities of Beadnell, you'll find Stone Croft House. This fabulous detached holiday home is close to Northumberland National Park and the beautiful coastline, making it perfect for groups of friends or families. It also features a stylish interior, off-road parking, three pleasant bedrooms, and a large rear garden with furniture. Once you've crossed the threshold of your temporary home, you can immediately make your way to the sitting room, where you can unwind in front of the Smart TV and crackling woodburning stove. Later, head into the contemporary kitchen to start cooking up a feast for the family to enjoy together at the dining table; if the weather's nice, head outside to the patio set for an alfresco meal. When the night sky turns starry, retreat inside to the first floor, where you'll find a bathroom where you can clean up before retiring to one of three bedrooms; a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a double, and a child's bunk room.  While the conveniences of Seahouses and Belford are within easy driving distance from Stone Croft House, residents can also take a break from cooking and enjoy a meal with their loved ones at the nearby Pack Horse Inn. Head north to Seahouses on a sunny day to enjoy a one-of-a-kind coastal experience by taking a boat trip, where you may even spot whales, puffins, and seals, or south to Low Newton-by-the-Sea to enjoy idyllic walks along its expansive stretch of golden sand and admire unbeatable views across the North Sea. For the avid hiker, Northumberland National Park offers a plethora of trails to explore, with stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape and fascinating insights into the region's past along Hadrian's Wall. About the location

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
