Newton Cottage is an outstanding detached stone built cottage situated in a wonderful setting overlooking the coast at Low Newton by the Sea, on the outskirts of High Newton. Finished to a very high standard, the cottage provides very spacious and attractive accommodation for up to 10 people with 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, a beautiful large enclosed garden and ample private parking. The magnificent sandy beach and bay at Low Newton is a short walk away and there are also other secluded beaches nearby. GROUND FLOOR Living/dining room open plan with oak flooring, multi fuel stove, plasma screen TV/DVD, dining tables and chairs and door to patio. Steps up to kitchen. Living room with TV, open fire in Inglenook fireplace and beams. Kitchen with double electric oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and iPod docking station. Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink unit, clothes airer and small freezer. Shower room with shower WC and basin. Bedroom 1 with double bed and beams. The small coastal village of Newton is situated on Northumberland's Heritage Coastline between the popular fishing villages of Craster, famous for its kippers, and Beadnell. Beadnell Bay offers excellent sandy beaches and there are spectacular coastal paths with wonderful scenery. The village has a pub which serves food and the historic town of Alnwick is only a short drive away.
