The garden was well kept. The house itself was comfortable and had a large well equipped kitchen. Each bedroom was set out lovely. There were some small issues like not having an iron and the mattress in the room we stayed in at the top of the stairs was a little soft for our liking so didn't sleep so well and the garden wasn't enclosed for the dog so had to be careful that she didn't wander on to the road. The town was just a short walk away which had a good variety of shops and would recommend the Awarde winning Bakery and Fruit and Veg shop next door. There are plenty of pubs that all served food and the Italian was very enjoyable. Overall a great stay and would definitely be returning at some point.

We have recently set Kerangarth up as a holiday home so we appreciate understanding what areas we can look to improve. With the garden it is difficult to change the layout but there are lots of beautiful river and woodland walks very close to the house.
