Take a boat trip from Seahouses harbour to the Farne Islands to see the magnificent wildlife. From grey seals to puffins, it is both an enjoyable and information day out. The boat trips run all year but are dependent upon weather conditions.

Barter Books is one of the largest antiquarian bookstores in the UK and definitely worth a visit. Located in Alnwick’s magnificent old Victorian railway station, you will find the original waiting rooms with roaring fires and places to sit and browse the books or grab a bite to eat at The Station Buffet. Free entry and open all year.
