    “Unfortunately the cleanliness let this break down.”

    The campsite itself was lovely and welcoming but the lodge/caravan had a lot to be desired. Dead bugs and spiders webs everywhere. The electrical equipment needs checking for PAT Testing. The fridge expired in 2022 and other items such as microwave, kettle and toaster didn’t have one. The cooker was so dirty I couldn’t even cook a frozen pizza. I’m just glad I took my own air fryer. The hot tub has duct tape around the top of it (unsure why). The steps to the lodge are propped up with ...

I can forward photos if required. We watched the so called cleaners do 3 vans/lodges in 25 minutes.

The delightful village of Felton is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films!
