    “The site is lovely the caravan on first entry looks nice but there was a musty smell that lingered for around 3 days, like it hadn’t been opened for a while.”

    We gave up with the tv on the first night as the Wi-Fi kept dropping out and it wasn’t connected to the aerial. Good job we had mobile phones to get music and news. The king size bed is too big for the room leaving minimal space down the sides to get in. The legs are also very wobbly so felt like it was gonna collapse. After 2 nights we went into single beds. The shower was very powerful and the heating system was good although we didn’t try the electric fire after a previous feedback so ...

LONGFRAMLINGTON

Rothbury 5 miles; Alnwick 11 miles.

The delightful village of Swarland is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has Nelsons, situated in the sports hall, which is open seven days a week, serving excellent coffee and meals, a children’s play area and tennis courts. It is just 8 miles from Alnwick, with its castle and garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden.
