“The property faces towards the sea, and during the hot week we had this was a god send, lovely sea breeze.”

The secure garden is long enough for any dog(s), and the walk to the dog friendly beach was a breeze. There is a golf club 300m away if this takes your fancy, with a par 3 first hole downhill playing 200 yards, into a wind (which you will get) 240 ?. I digress, the property does say accommodate 6, this would be a push, because at the moment there is really only 1 shower/ensuite, as the bathroom despite having a shower attachment, isnt a stand up shower, easy fix, have a shower screen. The main room downstairs has a huge tv (75 inch, could be more), which for me is too big given the size of room. The kitchen area could really do with a table of some sort, because a party of 6 would struggle around the breakfast bar set up, but for us 2 it was fine. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet, modern, beach holiday without the heat, then this will suit just fine.

Arrive to off-road parking at the front and take a moment to soak up the open outlook before stepping inside, where a welcoming hallway and cloakroom make returning from coastal walks and riverside adventures feel relaxed and unhurried.

Make your way through to the rear and discover the open-plan living space, where full-width bi-fold doors draw the garden and far-reaching views of the sea and Warkworth Golf Club straight into the heart of the home.

The kitchen anchors the space beautifully, its sleek design and integrated units setting the scene for slow mornings, starting the day with a fresh coffee from the built-in coffee maker while plans are made around the island and breakfast bar.

As evening falls, gather everyone together and sink into the expansive corner sofa, stretching out as a film plays on the large TV or simply watching the light fade across the landscape beyond the glass.

Upstairs, the bedrooms offer peaceful places to retreat after full days out, with the king-size rooms inviting you to sink into crisp sheets and fully unwind, one complemented by the convenience of an en-suite shower room, while the family bathroom is perfect for rinsing away sandy toes and salty air.

The bunk room is generously sized and laid-back, giving younger guests a space they can settle into and enjoy as their own.

Step outside and let the large garden extend your living space, whether that means children playing freely, dogs exploring the grass, or standing quietly with a warm mug as the sea air drifts in.

Lace up your walking boots and venture into Northumberland National Park, where sweeping hills reward long walks, quiet valleys reveal inky night skies for stargazing, and woodland trails offer calm moments immersed in nature.

Wander into nearby Warkworth to uncover its postcard charm, from the striking castle that dominates the skyline to riverside paths following the gentle curves of the River Coquet and a sandy beach ideal for easy coastal strolls.
