“A beautiful little cottage within easy reach of many of this areas places to visit.”

The cottage was very clean and the kitchen well equipped with everything we could need. The double bedroom at the front of the property was clean and cosy with a very comfortable bed and good linens. The internet /TV will give you lots to watch. One thing, the oven is very slow to heat up and if you are going to cook, you will need to factor in extra cooking time.( maybe double?) The cottage was very clean and the kitchen well equipped with everything we could need. The double bedroom at the front of the property was clean and cosy with a very comfortable bed and good linens. The internet /TV will give you lots to watch. One thing, the oven is very slow to heat up and if you are going to cook, you will need to factor in extra cooking time.( maybe double?) We didn't use the summerhouse but I can imagine that it would be a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a book, or just enjoy the lovely cottage garden. It is a lovely garden. A niggling concern for us in the garden, whilst it is fenced on 3 sides, the fence at the end of the garden would allow dogs to escape into the lane. Small dogs might even be able to leave the garden through all the fences. We had the dog on the longline when he was in the garden so he could investigate and have a sniff but I was still worried he could take off if he saw something more interesting than me!! (which is most things to be fair!) I didn't find any country walks from the door but the lane past the cottages is quiet and makes for a nice sniffy walk early doors. I agree that the approach to the rear of the building is a little disappointing but I can't see how it would be able to be improved. Please do read the instructions for parking, the spot of number 4 is immediately at the end of the short drive beside the garage with the white door. All in all, we loved our stay at Number 4 and can't wait to return, it's a lovely characterful cottage, so we're looking at availability for next year.
