    “Location great - plenty of on street parking- which isn’t always the case.”

    Place was really well equipped with everything you need. Bedrooms good sizes and comfy beds. Showers good and lovely apartment to be in. Two issues however. One the front door was terribly difficult to open. It took ages sometimes and that’s quite a worry if we had needed to escape -for any reason -quickly. It really needs sorting. The second issue isn’t with the apartment itself but the neighbours above. They were incredibly noisy! Stomping around - late at night and very early in the ...

Also sounded like they were moving furniture constantly. They had no consideration for others at all and it ruined our stay and based on that alone I wouldn’t stay here or recommend it. They honestly had no consideration at all.

    Sorry to hear about the noise from upstairs. This is also a holiday let and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this now but this has never been reported before so hopefully a one off. The front door has been absolutely fine but occasionally with a change in weather the wood can become a little sticky. I am sorry this happened during your stay. I wish you had told us at the time - our maintenance team are just minutes away and could have fixed this in an instant. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in beautiful Alnwick ❤️ Property Owner

The attractive and historic market town of Alnwick is dominated by Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, opened in 2002, are home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fabulous (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden, which will delight novice and experienced gardeners alike; for even more excitement, the enchanted world of Lilidorei is also available at Alnwick Gardens, offering seasonal events and plenty of fun for little ones of your group. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films! The town's narrow streets have seen little change since the days when the London to Edinburgh stage coach passed through and the Market Place, with its stone cross, is still the central feature and the ideal venue for the weekly Saturday market. Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.
