Enjoying close proximity to the rural delights of Northumberland National Park as well as the England/Scotland border, Twincote makes an excellent base for a couple looking to explore the delights of this sought-after area.

A private off-road parking space greets you upon arrival, making unloading your belongings and settling into your new home-from-home an easy task.

Stepping inside, be charmed by the characterful interior of the open-plan living/dining room, where a rustic woodburning stove sits within an inglenook fireplace, enticing you to cosy up on the sumptuous corner sofa with your better half as the flame crackle nearby.

Moving through the ground-floor, discover the well-equipped kitchen, where an elegant breakfast bar invites you to share a bottle of wine with the designate chef as they get to work on preparing a romantic meal for two.

The adjoining sun room provides an idyllic spot to enjoy an evening tipple, whatever the weather, whilst you can make use of the gravelled front garden in the warmer months.

A well-presented double bedroom can be found tucked beneath the sloped ceiling of the first-floor, where an elegant Velux window will flood the room with natural light in the morning, whilst you can get ready for the day ahead with a blissful soak in the en-suite bathroom.

The heart of Wooler rests a short distance from Twincote, where you'll find a bustling high-street home to all of your local amenities, including hearty cafes, traditional pubs and handy takeaways, ideal for those evenings where you fancy a break from doing the cooking, whilst you can stock-up on essentials at the convenience store as well as the new Whiskey distillery in Wooler called Ad Gefrin.

Enjoying a rural position at the foot of The Cheviot Hills, you're in an outdoor adventurers paradise; wrap up warm and enjoy a peaceful stroll through the scenic greenery of Wooler Common, lace up your walking boots and hike to the summit of Humbleton Hill, or take a step back in time and discover the remnants of Hadrian's Wall, running nearby through Northumberland National Park.

The town of Coldstream is easily accessible, resting just over the border in Scotland, home to Coldstream Museum, Hirsel Golf Club and the iconic Coldstream Bridge, whilst Alnwick Castle can be found in the opposite direction, famed as the backdrop behind Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Harry Potter movies.
