“Terrific house, perfect for a multi-generational family holiday.”

Best equipped, large kitchen (and utility room) of any holiday home we've stayed in. Plenty of communal and quiet space. Light and airy open plan living room/diner leading onto the patio was well used by all, with the option of the lovely quiet front room. Wonderful lower garden and the two different patio areas are so well equipped with a child's picnic table and two outdoor sofa sets. Rear of the house is a sheltered, peaceful sun trap and we sat out comfortably each evening. Big bedrooms and good shower and family bathrooms. Plenty of hot water. Bed linen and towels very good quality. The perfect blend of a stately holiday house with a beloved family feel. On a busy road in daytime but always easy to park outside and really only conscious of traffic at the front door. Well insulated with double front door and secondary glazing. Would have been perfect if only the largest bedroom sash window could have been opened-it appears painted shut and made for stuffy nights. Spick and span clean, but we were left only 2 toilet rolls for a family of five for a week which contrasted with all the other thoughtful starter packs left for our use. Warkworth beach was our favourite and a 15 minute walk or quicker drive with free parking. Straight onto the coastal path at the beach. Would definitely book again and recommend without hesitation.

Thank you very much for your detailed review, and we are thrilled that you enjoyed your visit so much! We are very sorry the sash window got stuck, we will look into this. Property Owner
