    “This was an exceptional property located a short walk from Seahouses and located in North Sunderland.”

    The property is only five years old and in a small development of properties built at the same time. The owners seem to have thought of everything that you might want with a good shower, heating system, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer , lovely rear garden & seating area for outdoor eating. The property is managed by one of the neighbouring properties and when I mentioned the electric kettle was leaking the owners appeared later that day with a brand new kettle; truly positive and ...

Highly recommended as a comfortable base for a holiday in Northumberland.

The nearby village of Seahouses is a beautiful spot to base a holiday, offering an attractive harbour to explore, alongside a good selection of shops, inns, pubs and eateries, there's plenty here to keep you entertained. Embark on a waterfront adventure and take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands where you can visit a bird sanctuary and spot seals for a truly memorable experience, or walk down the promenade to nearby Bamburgh with its imposing castle, RNLI Grace Darling museum and golf club. Alnwick also offers an exquisite castle, as well as an art gallery and gardens to roam, making it an extremely scenic day trip, or simply stroll along the coast and spend time relaxing on one of the area's many beaches with your loved ones amidst. Ideally positioned for exploring both the coast and countryside of Northumberland, Brindles Cottage is a marvellous holiday home for your next English escape.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
