“An absolutely perfect apartment for your stay.”

You couldn’t get much closer to everything you have on the doorstep. The apartment is clean and all your home comforts it is home from home. Loved having the balcony as we hit very lucky on the weather so used it more than we thought we would. The parking is great as under cover so car stayed cool when not needed. We will definitely be back and can only say thank you for such a lovely place to stay. One point the lift was out of use which was out of the owners control so we definitely got some exercise up and down the stairs. The good side we improved our fitness and it wasn’t a bother for us.

“We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment, it was ideally located and spotlessly clean.”

The only thing that spoiled our stay was that the lift to the second floor failed in the middle of the week and was still not fixed by the time we left which resulted in my wife and I having to carry all our luggage down two flights of twisting stairs, not good.

“Our week's stay in Cuddy's Holm was fabulous.”

Well-located near Seahouses harbour (for Farne Island trips), secure allocated parking in the apartment compound (with parking permit available for a 2nd car in the car park opposite), scrupulously clean, kitchen small but well-planned and lacking nothing in equipment, comfortable beds and a library of useful local information. Located on 1st floor with lift up from the ground floor. Cuddy's Holm is centrally located for northern Northumberland. We will be back!

“This is our seventh stay in two years so we obviously like it!”

Spotless as usual. Always something new -this time an air fryer. Flat is decorated to a high standard. Bath sheets are generous size. Provision of a second key is very useful. Two bathrooms gives more privacy. One bathroom has a step-in shower. The handrail gives security to those of us not quite so able or steady. The lift is another advantage. To have a dedicated parking space in Seahouses is a big plus. The owner’s direct contact immediately prior to arrival is informative and appreciated.

“This is perhaps the nicest holiday rental I've stayed in.”

It's immaculate, the feel and look of the apartment is just gorgeous. The apartment is central but quiet, parking so easy, it all felt very safe and secure. I only marked it down a point in comfort because the mattresses were very soft and my old back didn't cope too well, which is obviously very subjective and wouldn't want it to put anyone else off! Communication with the owner was first class. Imcsnt recommend this apartment highly enough.

“A beautiful, attractively decorated and very private property right by the harbour and centre of Seahouses but still very quiet.”

Large comfortable beds, and a fantastic shower. There is a lift to the second floor which is great when moving in/out. A problem I had with a blocked sink was dealt with quickly and I was kept up to date on progress. Staff in the office were polite, friendly and helpful.

“Excellent location, all facilities in easy walking distance, and the beach is not much further away.”

It's a short stroll to the pier where you can take various boat trips. I cannot fault the thought put into the contents of this apartment. Decent knives, wooden spoons, a sieve, spare batteries - everything we needed was at hand. I was disappointed that the apartment itself did not have a sea view - but it didn't detract from the holiday and I would happily come back again.

“Very cosy, bright and well-equipped apartment with the bonus of dedicated parking.”

Decorated and fitted to a high standard. Found beds and sofas comfortable. It was suitable for all three generations of us. Two bathrooms was ideal. Provision of two keys is helpful. A handrail I the shower to help stepping up & down would greatly benefit those of us with some mobility issues. We already have another holiday booked here.

“This was probably the accommodation that we have enjoyed most of all the holiday lets we have taken recently, and that includes quite a large selection.”

Cuddy's Holm is really nicely designed and built - the first time we have stayed in an apartment we would be happy to live in! Quiet, warm, cosy and comfortable with a nice light and open feel. Also in a great location in a lovely part of the country - although it was low season, Seahouses was open for business and the weather was good enough to enjoy the fabulous beaches and countryside. You may ask, why would we not recommend - well, we wouldn't recommend anything to anyone - it doesn't seem a sensible thing to be doing.

The zip link bed would benefit from a mattress topper to even out the join, other than that everything really good. I think the bathrooms have had a recent upgrade and the second shower over the bath is a good idea.

Cuddy’s Holm is a spacious, beautifully presented two bedroomed two bathroom apartment situated on the second floor of The Viking in central Seahouses.

The apartment also benefits from two south facing balconies, undercover private parking, lift access and the use of a communal sea facing garden that has stunning views towards Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands.

The open plan kitchen / dining / lounge are equipped with high end appliances and good quality fixtures and fittings encompasses the luxury feel throughout this comfortable property. A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
