Beehive Barn is peaceful choice for a relaxing retreat with friends or family, at any time of the year and is sure to be a holiday home you’ll want to return to. The location combines the best of both worlds; enjoying an idyllic position with coastal views whilst also being within walking distance of amenities, such as the Lindesfarne Inn, a shop and a cafe. Inside on the ground floor you will find the charming and cosy oak floored living room with its log burning stove, BT TV, DVD player and French doors leading to garden. Read a book or enjoy the peace and quiet on the comfortable sofas in the snug like décor. The oak floored hallway leads into the spacious open plan kitchen/living space. A fantastic social spot where you can sit and enjoy a meal together or relax on the inviting large corner sofa to watch TV or listen to music. This open plan area also ensures the cook will never feel left out of the party. Also, on the ground floor you can find both a cloak room and convenient utility room, with separate washing machine and tumble dryer. Three beautiful bedrooms can be found on the first floor, each offering a stylish interior and plenty of storage space for your personal belongings. The two double rooms include a king size bed and double bed, both with own en-suite/shower rooms and heated towel rail. The third bedroom offers stylish bunkbeds with plenty of storage included. In addition, there is a family bathroom where you can treat yourself to a relaxing bath after a busy day. Outside you can enjoy the large enclosed garden, where the sun shines onto the sheltered patio area into the afternoon and evening. Here you can sit out to enjoy a drink and admire the surrounding countryside across to the coast, as well as distant views of Bamburgh Castle and closer views of Lindisfarne and its causeway. There is even access to a shared grass tennis court! This prime location is near to a number of Northumberland’s best loved destinations: visit Bamburgh with its imposing castle, beautiful sandy beach and its crystal clear waters; take a boat trip from the seaside resort of Seahouses to the Farne Islands; or go to the inspiration behind Hogwarts – Alnwick Castle – which makes a fun day out for all the family, where you can ride a broomstick and become a wizard for the day. With the ancient Holy Island of Lindisfarne on the doorstep and Edinburgh in reach if you wish to travel further afield, Beehive Barn makes for the perfect destination for your stay in Northumberland.
