A corner sofa beckons after long walks, while a mounted TV allows for relaxed viewing from either the bed or the seating area.

A window seat offers a quiet perch to watch the countryside shift with the light, adding a gentle rhythm to your stay. The kitchen is well-equipped for slow mornings and simple suppers, with fresh eggs from the considerate owner often waiting to be cracked into a pan.

The double bed promises a peaceful night’s sleep, and the bathroom provides a calm space to refresh and unwind. A little further across the border you’ll find Coldstream. Framed by the gentle presence of sheep and chickens in the countryside, the cottages celebrate their rural character, offering a tranquil escape surrounded by nature and nearby walks—perfect for you and your dog to enjoy too.

Inside, some of the cottages feature inviting open-plan living spaces, alongside fully-equipped kitchens, Smart TVs with Freeview, stylish bathrooms/shower rooms, and sumptuous beds. The pretty little village of Cornhill-on-Tweed lies on the Scottish Border on the northerly edge of Northumberland, close to Coldstream and Berwick-upon-Tweed and the coast.
