“Having seen some recent reviews was a little anxious.”

But we needn't have been. Clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Excellent location to explore the area. Our lurcher (who can be fussy) settled straightaway and loved the (shared) garden. Our hosts were considerate and had alerted us prior to travelling to a potential problem and offered a contingency plan in case it couldn't be fixed in time. But that wasn't needed. We fed back that it would be helpful if the directions made clear the cottage is on the left when travelling from the south.
