    “We had an absolute blast in Baysyde!”

    The apartment/house was spot-on for exploring the area. The beds were super comfy, and the rooms were all nicely sized with plenty of storage. The place was beautifully presented and decorated. We loved the “upside down” layout of Baysyde, but I can see that the stairs might be a bit too much for some folks. On a side note, Alnsmouth is a treasure trove of interesting shops, walks, restaurants, and pubs. If you’re up for a mooching day, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

With added benefits of private parking, outside seating area and being just a stones’ throw from the beach and all the village amenities, Baysyde is a brilliant base for exploring the beauty of Northumberland. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR 3 steps up to entrance and seating area Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed Bedroom 2 with double that can be set up as a twin on request.

ALNMOUTH

Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
