    “We have loved our repeat stay at Grebe Cottage and will certainly return.”

    The village is perfect with many little places to eat and drink options with the cottage is located centrally to it all. Everything you could need is there at the property for a wonderful stay. The facilities are perfect for a family and the dog. It’s our closest place to heaven when walking on the beach in Alnmouth and Grebe cottage is the perfect place to relax after. Thank you so much

Here, you can relax on the plush sofa and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV or using the DVD player, or if you're feeling a little peckish, the well-equipped kitchen has all the essentials for cooking up your favourite recipes, ready to savour over a glass of wine at the dining table or a fresh coffee from the Nespresso machine. Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea.
