    An excellent location. The basics- cleanliness, bed linen, towels shower kitchen equipment etc etc were excellent. Comfortable and cosy and good value for money. Easy booking system instructions for access etc very efficient. A few things. The decking is pretty worn but this has been mentioned before on reviews. The warning description of the stairs accessing the property was accurate, so we were aware. However, we did find them a bit challenging as we had two dogs to take up and down . We ...

    An excellent location. The basics- cleanliness, bed linen, towels shower kitchen equipment etc etc were excellent. Comfortable and cosy and good value for money. Easy booking system instructions for access etc very efficient. A few things. The decking is pretty worn but this has been mentioned before on reviews. The warning description of the stairs accessing the property was accurate, so we were aware. However, we did find them a bit challenging as we had two dogs to take up and down . We managed. The shower is splendid but the flex a little worn near the shower head end. Ok for us but may need checking out. Also, we did need our torch, as advised, when we arrived in fading light and pouring rain so maybe the security light coming on would have helped. Only small things. Overall we would recommend the Old Concert room as a well equipped flat in a great location for people and dogs. The stairs were the only drawback for the two of us - aged 75 and 80!

Views towards the coastline. Kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. Cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin. Open stairs to the second floor. SECOND FLOOR Bedroom 1 with king-size bed, dressing table and hanging space. Bedroom 2 with two single beds. Shower room with shower, WC and wash hand basin. OTHER FACILITIES Private parking for 1 car.

ALNMOUTH

Alnwick 4 miles.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea. A short drive will bring you to Alnwick with its famous historic castle, The Alnwick Garden housing the Poison Garden which runs guided tours through dangerous botanicals and a variety of pubs and restaurants. Alnmouth is well situated for exploring Northumberland.
