    “My wife and I spent a wonderful seven nights in February 2026 at 3 The Paddock in Benthall.”

    Everything is provided to make staying there comfortable and relaxing. We particularly liked that the bungalow had a washer/dryer. This is a two part holiday, our next stay is in The Lake District so, being able to wash clothes saved on carting dirty laundry to our next destination. The heating is excellent. The en-suite wash/shower room is great. The WiFi is fast and reliable. I was a bit concerned about the parking being 100 yards away as listed but, it’s actually only about 45 yards away in ...

It is a very quiet location but, within easy walking distance of the nearest bar and restaurant. The beaches are very close, only about ten minutes easy walking distance away and are clean and beautiful. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
