Hello, We returned from our holiday yesterday and just wanted to raise a few things with you. 1) The main issue is one of comfort. The sofa springs have failed and the whole thing needs to be replaced. We ended up having to put pillows from the beds underneath the sofa cushions to make it bearable. The two armchairs are extremely uncomfortable - again, the springs appear to have failed, so unfortunately they were not a comfortable alternative to the sofa. The mattresses on both beds are extremely soft and lumpy. All of this meant we seriously considered bailing out of the holiday after the second night, but we persevered as we did not want to lose money. This is the fourth time we have stayed at 6 Partanhall, and this is the only time we have felt this way. 2) The cleanliness of the cottage. Generally, it was ok, but there were some areas which really weren't acceptable. See attached 2 x photos of the inside of the oven as a prime example. There were toenail clippings between the sofa cushions. Lots of cobwebs throughout the house. Windows facing the sea were dirty and hindered the view (we've had this problem on previous visits and ended up cleaning them ourselves). I went to adjust the position of the TV on the wall and it was disgustingly filthy behind there. Rubber mat on the kitchen draining board had brown sludge in the corners. There was what appeared to be food residue in the kitchen sink overflow. 3) The bath is leaking. This was also the case when we last visited, in April this year (and we reported it). The leak is coming from under the plughole, and when you empty the bath you end up with a large pool of water on the floor. The cleaner has been informed about this. 4) Toilet is constantly dripping water down the back of the bowl. Again, we reported this last time. It does appear to have been looked at (last time it was noisy during the night, which meant we had to shut off the water to it, and this wasn't the case this time thankfully) but it is still faulty, so just bringing this to your attention. 5) The cleaner tried to gain entry to the property before the checkout time of 10am. We were taking the rubbish to the bins by the harbour when she tried to get in. When we returned at 0955, we went in to quickly use the toilet before leaving at 1000. The cleaner told us she was waiting to get in, and she said we should have been gone at 0930. I had already checked the email from you, which states checkout time is 1000. The cleaner disagreed and said 'the book' says the time is 0930.

Very sorry to hear this and we are addressing these issues where necessary. The mattresses are 3 years old and we have not had any negative comments until now likewise with the sofas. Thank you however for bringing this to my attention. Property Owner
