    “The property is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break.”

    Lovely welcome pack. Very private deck and views. Hot tub is a perfect addition. You can't hear the A1. Site is perfectly located to visit many attractions, we did Lindisfarne, Warkworth Castle, Amble market (Sun), Housesteads Fort, Dunstanburgh Castle, Morpeth, Simonside, Cragside and Alnmouth beach. Morpeth is close enough for supermarkets and has a nice selection of High St chain stores. Owner is very friendly and it is worth getting in touch just prior to your holiday if you have questions.

Perched on the edge of the Bockenfield Country Holiday Park in Northumberland with countryside views a a bubbling hot tub is this single-storey lodge, Dreams & Streams.

Perfect for a small family or group of friends, the lodge is ideally positioned within easy reach of both coast and country.

When you arrive, off-road parking greets you before making your way into the open-plan living space; here, you can whip up a delicious meal with the gas oven and hob to feast on while you plan a day of adventures.

From here, make your way to the sofa and relax and unwind in front of the electric fire while the Smart TV provides your entertainment for the evening.

Catch your rest in one of two bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a twin with small singles, ideal for children or friends sharing.

You will also find an additional shower room.

Head outside to enjoy a morning coffee out on the veranda, or savour a glass of wine while gazing out over the countryside.

A private patio area with a hot tub and furniture provides an impeccable spot to relax.

Bockenfield Lodges

Situated in the Bockenfield Country Holiday Park near West Thirston, Northumberland is this beautifully presented duo, Bockenfield Lodges. Each with their own off-road parking and veranda, the lodges are the ideal holiday homes for families or friends. With so much to see and do in the area, while enjoying an idyllic location nestled within the countryside yet just a short drive from the coast, there is something for everyone. You can stock up on your essentials at the nearby shop, The Hillrise Stores, though your evening entertainment can be fulfilled at the on-site pub, and for the children there is a play area. Just outside of the park, you will find Northumberland Country Zoo, ideal for any animal-lovers of your group, and a little further afield, the grand, Victorian National Trust property, Cragside. Heading towards the coast, a scenic car journey will take you to Druridge Bay beach, a beautiful golden sand and dune beach, ideal for evening strolls, or beachcombing with the children. Nearby, Morpeth is a beautiful town home to Whitehouse Farm Centre and Bothal Castle. The delightful village of West Thirston is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films! Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.
