    “This was our second visit to Lavender Cottage.”

    It's a beautiful, spacious cottage with a lovely outside garden and seating area. I was there with my son, daughter in law and granddaughter and the cottage is perfect to facilitate two familes and the 3 parking spaces enabled my sister and family to come and spend the day with us without worrying about parking. I can't fault Lavender cottage. We did have a problem with the emersion heater at the beginning of the holiday but Gillian had it sorted within half an hour and it did not impact on ...

I can't fault Lavender cottage. We did have a problem with the emersion heater at the beginning of the holiday but Gillian had it sorted within half an hour and it did not impact on our holiday whatsoever. Only 10 mins walk into the centre of Seahouses where there are plenty of shops and places to eat or take aways. I hope to be back next year as I absolutely love this cottage.

Lavender Cottage is a beautiful stone built property, and part of the popular Village Farm development located at the north end of Seahouses.

The property offers spacious, light and airy accommodation throughout including an extra living room.There are gardens both sides and French doors lead to a lovely patio with furniture to enjoy breakfast or an evening drink.

Seahouses harbour is a 10 minute walk away and it is in easy reach of Bamburgh, Alnwick and other Northumberland attractions. GROUND FLOOR Formal living room with gas stove, flat screen TV/DVD and French doors leading out to enclosed rear garden and patio area. Open plan living/kitchen/dining room - Living area with comfy seating, TV, games and starry night boxes Kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, breakfast bar and Belfast sink. Dining room with dining table and seating for 6 guests Utility room with washing machine. Cloakroom with WC, and wash hand basin. Bedroom 1 with king size bed, wardrobe and chest storage. Bedroom 2 with double bed, wardrobe and chest storage.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
