    “Lovely cottage, everything there that could possibly be needed.”

    Only slight niggle is that freezer space is limited, but if you are eating out this would not be an issue. Otherwise everything perfect!

This inviting, single-storey home, Pond Cottage, is located on a working farm on the outskirts of Alnmouth.

This charming base can accommodate up to six people and is a wonderful retreat for groups of friends and family looking to explore this part of Northumberland.

Kick off your hiking boots after a day of exploring the coastline, stepping into the open-plan living area, where you can relax on the sofa and catch up on your favourite TV shows.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick. Nowadays the area has returned to its unspoilt origins and offers a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an excellent “links” golf course and some great rivers for fishing, as well as boasting miles and miles of splendid beaches and sand dunes to explore which afford stunning views of the North Sea.
