The Old Sawmill is ideal for a multi-geneartional family holiday.
Interior accommodation is to a high standard, with a spacious kitchen/dining area and similar sized lounge. Ample parking. Amazing hot tub. Two points for owners to consider: 1.the outdoor paving requires attention 2.the access is a shared drive (not made clear, new owners of next door moved in during our stay and removal lorry had to block entry/exit as could not reverse in).
The house was beautiful, it was comfortable, in a great location, it was clean and had pretty much everything needed for your stay.
Highly recommend this gorgeous home to anyone, the owners did a little welcome basket too which is such a nice touch, there were shops 1 minute walk away with a nice bakery. A massive country park about 20 mins drive as well as The Angel Of The North a similar distance. The hot tub was great and the log burner inside is a nice extra, I would imagine it would be lovely in the winter. The only negative I would give is that the beds upstairs are doubles and can be a little snug if your used to sleeping on a king at home and the front bedroom is quite noisy with traffic but I wear ear plugs so it didn’t effect me. The bathrooms are absolutely stunning and the toilet downstairs has some special features ;-). Don’t hesitate and get it booked is all I will say.
