Another delightful stay at Pinegarth in the beautiful Northumberland countryside.

Our thanks to Fiona for taking such good care of the property and allowing us to enjoy it.

We had another lovely week at Pinegarth.

Wonderful views from the garden,very comfortable beds and Gills cafe is definitely worth a visit (only opens Fri Sat and Sundays

Very comfortable accommodation with all the facilities needed.

The only problem was the electric towel rail in the shower room which had no obvious 'on' switch. The host was very friendly. The vehicular access was very tight for modern cars.

It was a lovely cottage and location.

Amenities good but kitchen may be small for cooking large meals. Good that it has a seperate toilet, which I don't think was mentioned on the details. Lovely, clean and peaceful. Enjoyed watching the wildlife.

The property was very comfortable and very roomy . Especially appreciated having the conservatory in addition to a living room. The views were fantastic. For us it was a perfect location and really enjoyed the peace and quiet, yet we were not far from many places of interest.

Particularly well equipped kitchen. The house was always warm, with no need to adjust heating, even in November.

The beds were extremely comfortable with lovely views. The owner quickly sorted the slight boiler problem we had. Everything in the property to make it a very comfortable stay.

Great accommodation, this was our 2nd stay at their property.

The property has lovely views and is well situated for reaching Hexham or Hadrian’s wall and it attractions. The property is also well equipped with all mod cons. My only gripe is that being an older person I found the settee uncomfortable.

This was our second stay at Pine Garth and I can only say the house is top notch.

Fiona and Brian have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable.

The bungalow is comfortable, well equipped and maintained and is sited in a peaceful location with pleasing views. Fiona, our host, was very responsive and helpful when needed. Jill's Cafe, just a short walk away, was a bonus. We hope to return to Pinegarth in the future. Paul & Doreen

Great accommodation, well equipped, great views, love it, have booked to go back in September.

We love this area and now we have found an accommodation that meets our needs. Went in my Yaris as we were concerned about getting my partners 4X4 through the gate but it was large enough for a 4X4.

We had a wonderful holiday staying at Pinegarth.

The view from the front of the house is stunning and the house itself is very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and the owner was very friendly. We would recommend staying at Pinegarth to anyone.

Really enjoyed our stay, it was home from home, Susan & Brian thought of everything we might need and the "welcome pack" was very much appreciated after our long journey.

Beautiful views, comfortable home & the peace & quiet too. Jill's cafe just up the road is well worth a visit at week-ends. We had no issues getting our large car in the gate.

A lovely detached property in beautiful Northumbrian countryside.

Its very isolated and private (a good thing) with only a couple of nearby properties. Inside the property was very clean and well equipped. A nice quiet private garden with seating for good weather days. A great property for a quiet peaceful break, although Hexham only a short drive away with all facilities - supermarket etc. For history buffs, Hadrians Wall and Vindolanda fort also a short drive away.

We loved the property, everything we needed to enjoy our holiday.

The garden and views were lovely. You need to have lunch at Jill’s just up the road. Good base to see the county, The only downside for us was the gateway to the driveway only 5cm each side of the car, so we parked on the grass verge outside the property.

Shower room floor very cold.

Did not find switch for radiator until 4th day. (not obvious, outside room, above the door.)No indication given. Narrow gate entrance turning off road. Lovely welcome pack and views.

Very slight niggle, lack of hooks for dressing gowns in bathrooms and bedrooms.

Otherwise a fabulous cottage and a stunning location.

A Beautiful large bungalow, very clean, great views and wildlife.

The only comment I would make is the sofa is not very comfortable . The beds are very comfortable and plenty of room to move around. Would recommend to an anyone, if you like it quiet, and wildlife, it’s for you !

A lovely property in gorgeous countryside.

Well maintained and comfortable. Nice garden, which in warmer weather would be lovely for alfresco meals with lovely views. The owner was quick to deal with a problem we had.

Absolutely amazing place we will be back.

View is great, beds are comfy. Rooms are well decorated and spacious.

Pinegarth is a lovely bungalow in a lovely setting, and hopefully we will book this one again.

We did find the main bedroom a bit cold sometimes as the radiator needs flushing (we think) but this didn’t detract at all from our stay. A bin in the kitchen would be useful. Owners were very pleasant and helpful.
