Megstone

A nice little bungalow within 5 minutes of the beach, a little shop, pubs and a cafe.

Lots of pots and pans and cutlery. Garden is dog secure, could probably do with a little attention. Beds and sofas comfortable. Nice quiet location but close enough to everything you need. Just a 5 minute drive to Seahouses where there's a coop and other shops. Not much further to Bamburgh, which has a lovely beach. Everywhere is dog friendly.

It might be called self-catering accomodation however I don't expect to have to provide toilet rolls or dishwasher tablets for example.

I also expect to have a set of keys that open doors simply rather than a bunch of assorted bent and broken ones and a kitchen door that doesn't lock. Despite these issues the property is comfortable and well located for access to the village and beaches.

This was our second stay at Megstone and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very well placed for walking to all amenities. The bungalow is very well equipped with everything you need. Lovely decor and very comfy bed. I look forward to staying there again.

A wonderful place to stay.

We couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The bedrooms were lovely, very comfortable everything we needed. The living room and dining/kitchens was outstanding and very accommodating for the dogs. I just wish we could have stayed longer it was only a short break. We will be booking next year and i hope we will be able to extend the visit. A Big Thank you. Janette

Great location for access to restaurants and beach.

But the general condition of the cottage left a lot to be desired. It needed a thorough clean and redecorating. Never been in a holiday rental that didn't provide washing up liquid and hand-wash. General lack if cleaning products. Also too many petty little notices but no information about what to do with bedding etc.

We had a lovely holiday at Megstone, beautiful bungalow in a very quiet area.

Bungalow was spotless and beds and couches so comfortable. The enclosed garden was ideal for sitting out and for our dog. The weather was also fantastic and we would recommend this property and definitely book again in the future.

Everything we needed was provided. We stayed here a few years ago and we will hopefully return again sometime in the future. Beadnell is in a great location for exploring Northumberland.

The property is well kept and located in a quiet area close to the sea.

It has an enclosed garden which is ideal for dogs.

The weather at the end of our stay was chilly and a bit wet. But you can’t complain it is Northumberland after all. Great stay no complaints whatsoever will recommend to our friends and family.

Megstone is a wonderful little bungalow.

It was clean, comfortable and perfect for us. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. I would advise future dog owners there is a public footpath that runs directly in front of the property that is used regularly - it didnt cause us any issues but if you have a reactive dog it may be annoying. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Megstone to stay in.

Perfect location, we just love it. Yes there's cheaper, yes there's nicer but for us this just hits the right spot
