With countryside views and two woodburning stoves, this characterful abode sits within easy reach of both the beach and Northumberland National Park.

After parking up, take a moment to admire the surrounding landscape before stepping through the front door and onto the beech flooring of the spacious sitting room, where exposed beams and a large rustic stone fireplace frame the woodburning stove.

Settle into the sofa positioned to enjoy the views or curl up with a book on the window seat as the fields stretch out before you.

The utility room offers space to store provisions and includes a fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine for added convenience.

Continue through to the country-style kitchen/diner, where terracotta tiles and original wooden walls create a warm atmosphere for preparing meals and sharing stories over dinner.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
