What guests are saying
Very clean, well maintained cottage, everything you need down to toilet rolls.
It’s in a great position near a beach, and the centre of the village. Only fault is the back garden, it is well laid out, but the gravel was hard on the dogs feet and there is no gate, the small drive leads straight onto a road. If a gate was provided we would happily book again. Had a great time despite this.
Great holiday on Holy Island and Sarah’s Cottage.
The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and the facilities within all worked and were great. The village itself is lovely and once the tourists have gone is quiet and peaceful. 5 min walk from the cottage takes you to a beach and headland with great views. You could easily do a long weekend without leaving the island but we had great days out exploring the local area like Alnwick and Bamburgh. Make sure you take essentials though as if the tides in, you can’t get to the local shops. All in all though this is a great place and we’ll be back again.
