What guests are saying
Beautiful cottage and ideal location to visit local beaches.
This was a late booking but we were very pleased with our choice.
It is beautifully furnished and well kitted out , perfect for an older couple who like to go on trips out. Nearby was a lovely small nature reserve to walk around and the friendly neighbours gave us tips on places to go. With only four nights we managed the coast, Cragside House and slightly longer Hadrians wall. Northumberland is such a beautiful part of the world. Nearby Morpeth is a lovely town. Although a long way for us we need to return and will definitely consider staying here again.
The cottage is so full of character, inviting, very clean and cosy.
The special features are the Rayburn cooker and the lovely bath in the top bedroom, there are many other lovely features too. There has been no expense spared on making the cottage a great place to stay, you will find everything you need, home from home. There is a lovely seating area in the back garden over looking the trees. The village is nice and quiet too. There is a bus stop just outside the cottage, the No. X18 bus is every hour, we didnt need the car the bus took us to all the places we wanted to visit. We really enjoyed our stay in ladybird cottage I wished we had stayed another week. We was left a lovely welcome package, bread, butter, jams, marmalade, milk, flowers, wine, biscuit, Chocolates. Crisps and more. Thank you Alice and Barry for sharing your beautiful home with us. Thank you for the goodies. We give you 10 out of 10. Thank you Sheila and David xx
