Swallow Cottage is a pretty stone-built, single storey cottage in an attractive courtyard setting part of a former farm buildings conversion.
Situated in the tiny farm hamlet of Branton in the foothills of the Cheviot Hills, the cottage is surrounded by outstanding walking and cycling country, with the Sustrans trans-pennine cycle Route 68 on the doorstep.
At nearby Ingram, the National Park Visitor centre offers guided walks and outdoor nature based activities throughout the National Park, Englands most unspoilt.
The Heritage coast is a half hour&
39;s drive away through quiet country lanes and there are National Trust properties and the famous Alnwick gardens also a short drive from the cottage.
