This tastefully furnished, two bedroom cottage sits in a rural location just a few miles outside the village of West Woodburn, Northumberland.
Presented to a lovely standard with off-road parking, an enclosed garden and surrounding rural vistas, The Hollow invites families, couples and two dogs for a special break to Northumberland.
After parking up in the off-road area, step through the front door into the lounge, featuring a sofa and an armchair placed in front of the Smart TV and woodburning stove, creating a homely ambiance for unwinding.

Enjoy sunny days within the enclosed garden, relaxing at the patio furniture and entertaining into the night, before huddling by the firepit and roasting marshmallows.
The bedrooms sit upstairs and offer a king-size and a double arrangement, each with oak furniture and serviced by a gleaming bathroom.
Just over a mile away lies The Gun at Ridsdale, a charming 19th-century pub with a light-fare menu and selection of ales.
West Woodburn is slightly further afield and provides a village pub and post office, while the nearby historic village of Otterburn, with its stunning views over the North Tyne Valley, is a haven for walkers and cyclists.

Visit Northumberland National Park Dark Skies to see the clear night sky in the stunning country side.
One of Britain’s most popular attractions, Hadrian’s Wall, can be reached in half an hours drive, whilst in the other direction and similar distance away lies the city of Newcastle, offering a welcome change of scenery with a range of shops, wining and dining spots, attractions, nightlife and activities to suit for a variety of tastes.

What guests are saying
I was very comfortable at The Hollow.
Facilities all I required. I had difficulty at first sorting out workings of TV but Katie kindly came straight away to help me. After that all was fine.
Perfect venue for a peaceful, tranquil retreat.
Everything you need.
Property could have been cleaner, the inside recycling bin was overflowing.
The only place you can store food is in the cupboard with the washing machine, kitchen bin and sweeping brushes. Would have preferred a kitchen cupboard. No outside lights. Property is advertised incorrectly, yes it’s dog friendly but dogs are not allowed upstairs. If I had known this I wouldn’t have booked this property as my dog is nervous and anxious so we took it in turns to sleep downstairs. The heating broke down, no heating or hot water. Plumber was due to come out at 9.30pm at night which I find unacceptable when you don’t even know who is coming out or if they will turn up at that time of night so our holiday was cut short. Very disappointed with our stay.
