Overall the cottage was nice to stay in, it needs some TLC as in sofas not comfertable (we didn't use them after sitting on them the first day), the cottage needs some renovation, doors not easy to close and wet room could do with a grab handle, we are oldder visitors it would be ok for younger visitors, the shower could do with instructions for use.

I must say we had an enjoyable visit and the area is beatiful. Kitchen was well equiped. One unfortunate item was the weather took a cold turn and the heating didn't come in until later after the morning seasion, the log fire is nice though.

Very easy check in process, the property is accurately described and deceptively spacious.

The beds are comfortable, and the bedding was warm even on the chillier nights. The property was well equipped, including hand wash and a towel in the kitchen which many places do not provide. Nice views from the lounge/dining room, which was spacious but cosy with the log burner on the one night we used it. There is also oil fired central heating. The timing of this is controlled by the owners who set it according to the weather, but you can ask them to change it, this also provides the hot water, which was plenty for a nice deep bath. The wildlife garden had a variety of birds including a pheasant couple, and also some visiting rabbits though we did put some nuts and seeds out, feeders are provided. All in all an enjoyable stay and would definitely consider returning if revisiting the area in the future.
