    “This has the makings of a great holiday home with some small adjustments.”

    The main problem we had was the shower. Unless run at a dribble it scalds you. Being there with a plumber it was clear it’s an easy fix. Either replace the shower, not that expensive in this instance, or replace the thermostatic cartridge - slightly more expensive. The general plumbing was very noisy when we or neighbours ran water. There is an unusual mix of cooking utensils with only really a tray to use in the oven and a collection of large plastic bowls for the microwave. The saucepans ...

The saucepans were lovely, though and plenty of cups and other crockery. The bed and settee were really comfy and there’s an extra heater if needed. Overall a great holiday but the shower really needs to be addressed urgently. We would recommend and definitely stay again if this was sorted. Lovely location and great to see the hens and sheep so close up.

There is an off-road parking space and access to the shared grounds, where you can enjoy a stroll through the paddocks or sit on a bench in the enclosed courtyard and take in the scenery. Inside, you will find a welcoming open-plan living space, where you can cook up your best dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, ready to share at the dining table for two as you plan the following days itinerary.
